This four-part quilt series captures the rugged beauty and ever-changing terrain of the Rockies, each quilt offering a unique view of the natural world as it unfolds on a mountain adventure.
Drawing inspiration from the unique beauty of Great Sand Dunes National Park, Garden of the Gods, Yellowstone, and Devil’s Tower, this series captures the diversity of nature found along the winding roads that traverse the region. Each quilt reflects the essence of these natural wonders, blending minimalist design with bold, geometric shapes and earthy tones.
Each design combines clean, minimalist lines with bold, geometric shapes, creating a contemporary landscape that reflects the majestic and awe-inspiring scenery of the Rockies. Earthy tones, cool blues, and vibrant sunset hues evoke the colors of the mountain sky, terrain, and waterways, while negative space invites the viewer to experience the vastness and solitude of the open road.
